John and Cynthia Lennon skiing in St. Moritz, Switzerland in 1965.

Home From Austria
March 22, 1965 - A thousand fans crowded Heathrow Airport to greet the Beatles upon their return from filming in Austria. Henry Grossman flew back to London with the Beatles’ party. As they walked across the tarmac to the terminal Ringo held onto Maureen’s hand as he turned back to smile for Henry Grossman’s camera. Paul, George, Pattie, John and Cynthia are walking up ahead of them.
Henry Grossman wrote:
"We flew out of Salzburg on March 22nd, and a crowd of Austrian teens had gathered at the Salzburg Airport to see The Beatles off. A much larger crowd of 1,000 was waiting when we touched down at London Airport later that day. What a welcome!"
