Honeymoon, February 12, 1965.Ringo & Maureen were married on February 11th 1965. News of their
quiet honeymoon in Sussex somehow leaked to the press, and the
newlywed couple awoke the next morning to reporters, film crews,
and flashbulbs.Ringo was disappointed at the sudden lack of privacy
but still granted brief interviews, while getting in a few light-
hearted jibes at the press.Special thanks for these beautiful pics to maureenstarrtribute group at Yahoo!

Happy anniversary (feb. 11, 1965) to my lover dovers, Ringo & Mo.
They were married at 8:15 am (lol) at Caxton Hall - they didn’t want any screaming girls.
49 years ago today Ringo & Maureen have got married.

❝ Maureen is my home. I can’t see how I’ll ever go on trips without her. And frankly, I’m sick and tired of these travels. I want to stay at home… I am happy. ❞ — Ringo Star
"They were always holding hands. Every time she picked up a cigarette, Ringo would suddenly appear next to her with his silver lighter. He’d look at her adoringly, she’d look at him lovingly, and when she exhaled, she’d lower her eyes as if the moment was too intimate…their casual intimacy assured me that it is possible to keep a love story going even after several years of marriage" - Chris O’Dell
